PokerStars .es and .com Update
PokerStars has implemented a number of significant upgrades to its .es and .com platforms for 2024. These enhancements are designed to optimize the user experience and resolve previous technical issues.
It is important to note that PokerStars ensures that users’ funds are protected and secure during maintenance periods.
PokerStars.com: Scheduled maintenance
PokerStars has announced several maintenance periods for 2024, during which games will be unavailable on June 11, starting at 05:00 (ET) for approximately 12 hours.
And on June 25 and/or 26, the schedule and duration have not yet been confirmed.
♠ Upgrades
Desk and table interface
PokerStars has redesigned the player pods at its poker tables for both the desktop and mobile versions. Now, all tables feature uniformly shaped player pods, with colors that align with the theme selected by the user.
This update does not affect functionality, but it does reduce the resource load and paves the way for future enhancements.

♠ MTT Lobby Filters:
- Status buttons: New prominent buttons have been added that allow users to include or exclude tournaments in different statuses with a single click, improving the visibility and accessibility of status options.
- Satellite filter: Relocated for greater visibility, allowing users to add satellites to the view more easily.
- Global Clear button: This new button allows you to reset all drop-down filters at once, unlike the previous functionality that only allowed you to temporarily disable them.
♠ Favorites in the MTT lobby:
Users can now save and access their favorite tournaments directly from the MTT lobby with a single click, facilitating access without leaving the lobby.
This change currently only affects the MTT lobby, while the favorites for cash games, Zoom and Sit & Go remain in the old “Favorites” tab.
Bug correction
PokerStars has fixed several technical issues, including bugs in the Mystery Bounty Widget and hand history in tournaments and Zoom, and problems with the “Fold & Watch (Zoom)” hotkey, as well as other minor bugs.
Other important updates
- Client width: The minimum client width has been increased to 1280×720, allowing for better scalability of features and layouts.
- Changes in poker offerings: Elimination of cash games such as HORSE, Mixed NLHE/PLO and Courchevel, due to low demand, although they will still be available in tournament format. New Micro Stakes levels for 5 Card PLO and 6 Card PLO cash games.
PokerStars.es: Scheduled Maintenance
PokerStars will be performing scheduled maintenance due to the migration of its server. During these periods, all cash and play money games will not be available during the following dates: June 11, June 25 and/or 26, July 9, July 30 and August 28.
Users will receive notifications by email and through the PokerStars client.
